Whomever Allah gives honour to, then that person is honourable, and whomever Allah humiliates, he then is disgraced. Indeed Allah عزوجل said:
وَمَن يُهِنِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن مُّكْرِمٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ
"And whomsoever Allah disgraces, none can honour him. Verily! Allah does what He wills." (Qur'an 22:18)
Due to this, it is incumbent upon you at this occasion to strenghthen your connection with Allah and to seek protection with Him - always and forever, asking Him for guidance, success, steadfastness upon the religion, to save you from evil, and to distance you from situations of doubt and corruption.
